Teaching Testimonials
“Samantha did an amazing job at teaching this course and keeping all of the students engaged at all times. She is very kind and her presence automatically makes everyone around her feel comfortable expressing themselves (and expressing themselves through writing). She gives very good feedback when we have class workshops and it is clear that she is very passionate about her craft and loves extending her love of poetry and creative writing to her students. She has been an amazing instructor, it is clear that she cares a lot for her students and her work, and future students are very lucky to have her.”

“Samantha is so sweet, a natural teacher, and a talented poet! I took this class for fun as a STEM major and did not expect to learn so much and enjoy it so much! She gave all the students the freedom to explore their creative writing interests and cultivated a positive supportive environment in class for peer feedback. She is the best!”
